Riverfly Showcase and Litter Pick

Discover the amazing invertebrates of the River Thet, at this fun family friendly wildlife event. Join Thetford River Group, to see a showcase of aquatic species as they conduct a river fly monitoring sample. During the event, the River Group volunteers will take samples from the riverbed. The samples will be displayed in water tanks, allowing visitors to see a range of aquatic species up close. At 3pm, there will be a litter picking activity along the river. Join in to help protect and give back to the environment, protecting the river and surrounding wildlife from litter.
