Remembering D-Day – Lantern Parade

On Thursday 6th June, Thetford Town Council will commemorate the 80-year anniversary of D-Day by paying tribute to the fallen from Thetford, with a series of events across the day. The evening will see Thetford’s events beginning at 6pm, with the ‘Remembering D-Day’ lantern parade, featuring children and families from across the town. The lantern parade will start at The Riverside Complex, and follow a path down King Street, leading to Thetford Market Place.
