Remembering D-Day – Bagpipes and Beacon Lighting
On Thursday 6th June, Thetford Town Council will commemorate the 80-year anniversary of D-Day by paying tribute to the fallen from Thetford, with a series of events across the day. At 9.10pm, bagpipe music will be played as the Beacon Lighting takes place at 9.15pm and the International Tribute will be read to close the evening.
